Over the last 10 years working in participation, we've learned something simple: many local governments, wherever they are, share surprisingly similar challenges.
Teams want to involve more people in decisions. They want to reach beyond the usual voices, make participation easier to manage internally, and clearly show how community input shapes outcomes. But too often, the tools and processes around participation haven't evolved at the same pace as expectations.
Those conversations kept coming back as we spoke with councils across Australia and New Zealand, which made this next step feel like a natural one. That's why I'm excited to share that Go Vocal is officially growing its presence in the region.
